An early start at 5.15 am was rewarded at Tophill Low nature reserve with some great shots of two Marsh Harriers and their two fledgling chicks flying around in the early morning sunlight.

In addition a Barn Owl flew across the marsh giving another great photo opportunity.

The Harriers disappeared from 10 am onwards but a great day nonetheless.
